2. Service Description

Metrica.uno provides an AI compliance self-assessment platform that helps organizations evaluate their AI systems against regulatory frameworks including the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, UK AI Framework, US Executive Order on AI, and Canada AIDA.

Our services include:

  • Guided compliance assessments
  • Gap analysis and recommendations
  • Compliance reports and documentation
  • Team collaboration features
  • API access (for applicable plans)

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate information
  • Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to bind your organization
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

Our services are offered on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our payment provider (Paddle). When you make a purchase:

  • Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record
  • Paddle handles all tax calculations and compliance
  • Your invoice will be issued by Paddle on our behalf

4.3 Free Trials

We may offer free trials at our discretion. At the end of a trial period, you will be charged for your selected plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.

4.4 Refunds

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with our services, in accordance with EU consumer rights.

5. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not share your account with unauthorized users
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures
  • Not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Not use automated systems to access the platform without permission

6. Data and Content

6.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to our platform. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

6.2 Our Content

The Metrica.uno platform, including all content, features, assessment frameworks, and functionality, is owned by Metrica Uno SL and protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer

Important: Metrica.uno provides compliance assessment tools and recommendations, but does not guarantee regulatory compliance. Our platform is intended to assist your compliance efforts, not replace professional legal advice.

Assessment results are based on information you provide and should be verified independently by qualified professionals.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

9. Consumer Rights

As a consumer in the European Union, you have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms, including rights under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use our services will cease immediately
  • You may export your data within 30 days of termination
  • We will delete your data in accordance with our privacy policy

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seville, Spain, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through our platform. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
